Artist's Description
My 10 year old granddaughter's leg as she rides. She's a terrific rider. This is essentially a digital painting transformed from a photograph. The technique I used to create this image emphasizes certain colors and brings out the graphic design elements of this image.
This photograph can be printed for display on canvas, fine art paper, metal or acrylic, with size and framing options, as well as printed on a variety of objects, all available right here on the Fine Art America website.
About Steve Ladner
In the early 1970s I created a fashion photography studio in New York City. I was shooting for GQ, Harpers Bazaar, Esquire, Town&Country, other magazines, and cosmetic campaigns for Revlon, Chanel, and others. In the 1980s I lived in France and shot for French Vogue and other fashion magazines and advertising accounts. I always approached the work as an art and did my best to make commercial work as artistic as I could make it given the restrictions. Some of my fashion work now has a vintage fashion art appeal. I believe the images I chose transcend their original purpose and are interesting in their color, composition, emotion, and form.
