Vintage Fashion Photos 1970s and 80s Wall Art

Some personal and some published shots I took as a fashion photographer in the 1970s and 80s. I worked from my studio in NYC, and shot for GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, French Vogue, Town & Country, The New York Times, Seventeen, and others, as well as cosmetic ad campaigns for Revlon, Almay, Chanel, Avon, Charles of the Ritz and others. And I lived and worked in Paris, France in the 1980s. The photos I chose for this collection have a timeless quality that transcends their original purpose. They express a dramatic vision and depth of feeling that was inspired by my love of great movies beautifully photographed. I was always looking for the feeling, the light, and the graphic composition that would elevate the photo, tell an emotional story, make it beautiful, and express the artist in me.
